"Apes" marathon at the 10th Box!
Finally confirmed a date for our all-day "Planet of the Apes" marathon in the 10th Box Cinema: this coming Sunday, November 20 beginning @ 12 noon! Rebecca and Paul will be there as well as we digitally unspool the entire saga, interspersed with lunch, dinner and a few wonderful concession stand specials.I remember back in the day when they released all five movies with a limited theatrical release in New York and LA just months after "Battle for the Planet of the Apes" was released. I remember thinking how cool that must have been to attend. Recently there was a 'Go Ape!' screening at a theatre in Philadelphia prior to the release of "Rise of the Planet of the Apes". We're actually going to be making a full weekend of it as Saturday night will be a double feature of "War Games" and "Blue Thunder". Plus, at some point very soon Rebecca and I want to do a 40th Anniversary screening of "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory"...since no other theatre in LA seems to be lining up to do one themselves. Kind of sad. That's OK...I'VE GOT IT COVERED!!

Yes, yes, yes! "Go Ape!" Are there seats still available? Plus, I'll need to know the intermission schedule and what's on the menu for that evening.
The 'War Games'/'Blue Thunder' double-feature is gonna be awesome. Hope the neighbors don't mind the noise!

The "Apes" marathon is actually sold out. All seats are taken! Plus, there will be some fine lunch and dinner specials that Rebecca is still putting together. I totally want us to have banana splits at some point during the day!! LOL!
