YES!!! Anne Hathaway as Catwoman!!!

Hathaway as Catwoman in "The Dark Knight Rises"! Oh, the possibilities!!! What a totally-out-of-left field decision this is...and I LIKE IT!! And you KNOW Christopher Nolan will completely guide this character into a realistic version of her comic book self. Even more glad now that The Riddler was not next in line after Heath Ledger's amazing Joker. That might have been a little too similar. Catwoman will take the third and final installment into wonderfully new territory.

Bane as a second villian? Not too sure about this. Keep him minimal and not over the top, please. That is all.

I'm not on board 100% yet, but I think I'll warm up to it.

My biggest concern is how they are going to dove-tail the villain story lines. The Joker and Two-Face went together really well, but I don't see the natural fit for Bane and Catwoman.

I don't think Nolan will attempt to make Catwoman and Bane work together. I would prefer if Catwoman were much more in the forefront and Bane be a very supporting character. Was never a fan of him. Although I COMPLETELY trust Nolan and his brother at this point to add these two into the perfect landscape that's been established.

It's funny because Nolan said at one point he was concerned that Catwoman might seem too over the top for his realistic crime drama take on Gotham City. Obviously he and his brother have found just the right entry point for her and I can't wait to see how it plays out!

Oh, yeah I'm on board with whatever the Brothers Nolan come up with for the Bat. And no, not a villain team-up, I was just thinking that the characters themselves don't seem to mesh. Like they wouldn't naturally be in the same story together (different parts of the Bat universe as it were.)

I'm cool with the non-prositute, jewel thief version of Selina Kyle, it could make for a lighter toned relationship for Batman/Bruce Wayne.

Exactly!

O.K. now I understand what you're talking about with Selina Kyle and Bale. They DO come from two different Batman universes and probably would not mesh well together. Unless Nolan reels in Bane so that, yes, he's a big guy with a lot of strength. But sort of in a Lothar way from "The Rocketeer".
