Henry Cavill is Superman
Some interesting news just announced this morning...Henry Cavill of "The Tudors" and the forthcoming motion picture "Cold Light of Day" has been cast in Zach Snyder's "Man of Steel". I like this choice! He definitely has that Christopher Reeve vibe about him (trust me on this for reasons some of you know), which is something I certainly hold near and dear and want to see carried over into the new film. Nice!

When I read this story earlier I said: "Henry who?" But after some reading and getting some insider insight (wink, wink), I trust Nolan and Snyder to have cast the right guy.
Hey, he spent some time in New Jersey as a youth so I'm sure his American accent will be fine too. Besides look at that hair, makeup can do a killer spit curl with that, am I right?
I SERIOUSLY trust Nolan and Snyder! Hey, these are the guys who perfectly raised the bar for Batman's return and faithfully brought Watchmen to the big screen, respectively. I'M IN!!
Just watching this guy in a full length feature with an American accent has me completely sold.
