Ya know I picked two movies this summer that I must see and that would be BIG hits. And no, "Knight and Day" wasn't one of them. One of course being "Toy Story 3" and the other was "Inception".

I've like Nolan since "Memento" and of course "The Dark Knight" cemented him as a summer big movie director. When the teaser trailer first hit I got a little goose bumpy. It has such an insane, twisted look to it and the tone is dark but not too dark.

And I really dig his casting choices too. DeCaprio has really grown on me, especially his work with Scorsese. Ellen Page is awesome and the underrated Joseph Gordon-Levitt rocks (see "Brick")! And there are so many more big names in the cast too!

So yeah, I'm with you on this one!

"Memento" was clearly just the beginning for Nolan. He never goes about anything second rate or casually. It HAS to be good and it HAS to make sense. He loves the mechanics of how things work and play out, and I think that's one of his great strengths in storytelling.

"Inception" has a great cast, bringing back a lot of his players from previous movies. Plus, I hear everyone is top notch in this. We already have our tickets for opening night at The Arclight!
