Henry Gibson dies

Henry Gibson, who was a staple of "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In", has passed away at the age of 73. Beyond the iconic 60's comedy-variety show, he starred in countless TV series and films, including "Nashville" and, of course, "The Blues Brothers". I watched "Laugh-In" regularly when I was a kid, so you could say he was one of the people on TV I grew up with.

"The Jew...is using the black...as muscle!"; one of his best lines in "Blues Brothers". Another tidbit I never knew was that Henry wrote his own poems as the poet on "Laugh-In".
