Maurice Jarre, composer for "Lawrence of Arabia", dies
A great composer has passed. 'Laura's Theme' from the movie "Doctor Zhivago" is an iconic piece of music which will live forever in film history. As well as so many of his other compositions for films like "The Year of Living Dangerously" and "A Passage to India" which he won an Academy Award for. You can read his obituary here at latimes.com.

Don't forget the score for "Fatal Attraction". Yes, he composed that, too! By the way, I read the "Freedom Tower" post. LOVED the Bender reference and laughed so hard my head hurt!-Bill.
