"All Along The Watchtower"

Was reminded of a couple of lines from the Jimi Hendrix version of "All Along The Watchtower", which plays in "Watchmen" against Nite Owl and Rorschach walking across the Antarctic tundra on their way to confront Adrian Veidt's at his snowbound polar base. It's the closing quote from Issue #10 of the original "Watchmen" graphic novel series and credited to songwriter Bob Dylan. The specific lyrics are as follows:

'Outside in the cold distance'
'A wild cat did growl'
'Two riders were approaching'
'And the wind began to howl'

The cat, of course, relating to Veidt's pet, Bubastis. Just a cool connection between song and screen that I keyed into upon hearing the track again after the midnight show last week, as well as flipping through the graphic novel once again. Great choice using the Hendrix version.
