That First Trip
2 years ago today was my first full day in LA; that virginal plane trip followed by a week of interviews and wonderous exploration. It's amazing how much has happened since then.
Why, why, WHY must they do this to me when it's nearing time to leave! Aaaahhhhh!!!!! If I can keep working until then it's possible. The only thing that disappoints me is the first show is already sold out. Thanks for the tip, Dave! See what happens when I blink for a moment!

Hey, it's Bill! I'm sorry to hear that "Empire" is playing as your nearing time to come home. I swear I had nothing to do with it! If it's any consolation, I'm here at work, TRRRYYYYIIIIINNNNGGGGG to write to you, and block out the very loud obnoxious rap music bullshit that's blasting from the night cleaner's boombox nearby. I'm surprised you can't hear it on the West coast! Anyway, had to call and say hi. The posters have still not come in yet, and as you may or may not have heard, Yasser Arafat died Wednesday afternoon. I really can't stomach this cop-killer shit blasting in my ear any longer. Gotta go before I shoot someone (God, it's catching on already!) Give a call when you get this. Next message WILL have a "Reeveview". Promise. Best wishes, Bill...Your "homey" (Oh, God!).
It sounds like the Q&A was only after the first show, so you're probably not missing much if you could only score tix to the 2nd showing. (Though Bob & Doug was awesome with just their introduction!)
PS... Bill, G'DAY!!
Sorry to post that notice to you. I went back and forth if I was gonna tell you or not, but I figured you would eventually would have saw it and both shows would have been sold out.
Either way I'm looking forward to seeing you back east for the holidays. I hope you can make it to the holiday party on 12/19.
